Developing a Multi-Platform App with AI: Privacy ID Management to Prevent Misuse
Bear. Locker - A multi-platform secure ID document management app with watermark protection features, safeguarding your privacy when sharing documents and preventing illegal misuse of your credentials.
The Problem
In 2024, I applied for visas to several countries. Wanting to take the easy route, I inevitably had to work with travel agencies, which meant providing countless documents - ID cards, passports, household registration books, and even family members' materials. These high-resolution privacy documents were flying around in various WeChat groups and email threads...
At the time, I was quite worried about the potential risks of these high-definition privacy data, especially since each visa application required a large batch of materials. I was concerned about privacy leaks and even more worried about unknowingly having cards opened or loans taken out in my name 😢.
Finding a Solution
Initially, I manually added text like "For use only by XX travel agency for YY visa application" to each document using photo editing software. But with so many materials, different travel agencies, different visas, and different family members' documents, it really gave me a massive headache 🤯.
So I thought about developing an app that could uniformly manage my family's ID documents.
